Receiving SOME google mail, but not others

Here's an odd one. Entourage is not receiving E-mail from a few E-mail
addresses sent to my Google account. It receives 95% of the E-mail
sent to me, but occassionally I will receive four or five E-mails from
a particular sender and then out of the blue the sixth E-mail doesn't
come through.

I go to googlemail.com and I can see the missing E-mails, which means
that the E-mails are being sent and received fine through google and my
server. They are just not getting through to Entourage.

The missing E-mails are not being filtered into any other folders (junk
mail, etc.).

So far I have noticed this problem with only two senders. One is
sending from Thailand and one is sending from inside the same city as
me (Chicago). With both senders, Entourage receives MOST of their
E-mail but misses some.

I would not have thought this was even possible.

I have:

Powerbook G4
OSX version 10.4.7
1 GB DDR SDRAM

Entourage 2004 for Mac version 11.2.5

It may be possible, because gmail doesn't work like an ordinary mail
service. It takes mail that is received at their server and forwards it to a
POP mailbox (you must have set this up to be using entourage to get gmail).

So, if you are missing some mail, it must be because google aren't
forwarding that mail on.

Is it being trapped as spam at the google server end of things? This is
probably an issue you need to take up with their support folks.
