Receivng Error Message on Submit Form

T

Ted Shimek

I have a form on my website that submits data to another form using a Submit
button. It has been working for over 2 years without a problem. Within the
last week the error messaage below is received when submitted. The data is
sent to the second form but the email notification does not work. If the
email is removed from the submit form there is no error message received.

FrontPage Error.

User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

My server provider gave me the following information:

Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:

http://www.gwrra-mi.org - Error #a0007 Message: Error from search: can't
open the word hash file gwrra-mi.org\_vti_txt\default.wti\All.dct unable to
open the database

He suggested republishing the website to correct the error, that seems
extreme.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ted

Delete the All.dct file then open the live site in FP and run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Tom,

I could not find a file named All.dct. I did run the Tools/Repair Hyperlinks.
Did not correct the problem.

You need to contact your web host.

The file is hidden and will never be seen from within FP.
