Recent additions to existing Custom Table not displaying correctly

MSPS 2007 SP1, and recent updates for both client and server.

Created a custom table for project attributes. There are multiple levels
for this table.
i.e. Group 1
group 1 subset
group 1 subset
Group 2
group 2 subset
group 2 subset

The table attributes are set so the numbe of levels match the code mask.

When someone goes to save their project and apply the correct option for
this custom field using the table drop down, several of today's additions are
showing incorrectly under a Main Grouping that they were not setup under.

i.e. Group 6
group 1 subset
group 1 subset

(Group 6 has no subset's itself)

When the user selects it, it is displayed correctly on the project.

i.e they select Group 6, group 1 subset

It shows on the project info as Group 1, group 1 subset (this is what we
want it to do)

The only problem is that there are several departments that have similar sub
departments and this can get ugly fast.

Is this a known bug, or do we have something wrong?

I have cleared cache on all client machines and this still shows. It is
also happening on my Development box.

How did you clear the cache? Did you delete the 12 and Cache folders under
AppDate?

Also, what release are you on? SP1? IU?

Hi Jonathan,

SP1 and the technology updates.

We cleared the cache via Tools within the client. When that didn't help I
cleared the folders.

Still no luck.

I have seen this issue when I performed an upgrade from 2003 to 2007. Let me
know if that is the case.

The Way I fixed the issue was add a bogus value in middle of lookup table
save it and then opened it again and deleted it.

Thank you for your response.

It must have been some cache issue.

When I came in this morning it had resolved it's self.

Not sure it was Server cache or local cache issue.
