Recent documents under file in Excel not visible

We are working with a Windows 2000 AD.
We are working with Group Policies.

There is one user who does not have the recent opened documents you
have under the File menu. All other users (who work with the same
group policy) do not have this issue. I tried to find a way to bring
them back but cannot find them.
Can anybody here offer some assistance.
