Hello,
I have a w2k3 sp1 terminal server with o2k3sp1 installed and for some reason
all my users are seeing the same 4 documents in their recently used
documents in the task pane (docs that the user did not open). I cannot find
where to remove these docs as recent files. I uninstalled office and
re-installed but all my users still see these same docs. I could not find
these docs anywhere in the registry?? Any one know whats going on or where
word stores these recent file settings?

They are in Word's data key. You can remove them manually within word using
the command-kill key combination which can remove anything from any menu.

Alt + Ctrl + -

See http://addbalance.com/word/workmenu.htm for more on this command.
