Recently installed font does not appear in font drop down menu

I have recently installed a new True Type font (Herakles)in my
Windows fonts folder but they do not appear as selection options in my
Word 2000 font selection drop down menu. How do you get these fonts in
that drop down menu?

Hi Victor,

Do you have a truetype capable printer selected in
File=>Print in Word? Did you restart Word after installing
the font?

If you double click on the font in the Windows Control Panel
Font applet what is the "Typeface Name" listed? One version
of Herkales will be under 'Piroherak' rather than the file name.
