I have not had problem with these type of short cuts when i run them from another location such as the desktop and the "all Programs" list in the start menu. I have cleared the "recently opened programs list, that doesn't work, the shortcuts aren't broken. This is a bug. perhaps there is a registry entry missing or damaged that allows this to work from this location, I don't know. My guess is that this is a Vista fault, but it is worth letting the Office community know about it, perhaps there might be a fix made soon. When i click the short cuts there is system activity (the light on the PC flashes), but no error report/messages and nothing happens. [/QUOTE]
