Recently used file list

A couple of weeks ago I downloaded Tweak IU. I experimented with the program
very briefly, then removed it from my system. After removing it, I noticed
that the "recently used file list" function in all of my Microsoft Office
software was no longer available. I'm not exactly sure what happened.

In order to get this aspect of Office functioning again, I did a complete
repair of Microsoft Office. This didn't work. Then I completely uninstalled
Microsoft Office and reinstalled the program. This didn't work either.

I'm still not able to use the "recently used file list". It is still grayed
in the Options menu.

Any help from anyone would be most sincerely appreciated!

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=284896 "'Most recently
used' list missing from File menu and 'Recently used file list'
option unavailable in Office XP and 2003". Since you say you
uninstalled TweakUI, you'll probably need to manually modify the
Windows registry key mentioned in KB284896.

Thanks very much! Reinstallation of TweakUI seemed to be the only thing that
would reinstate this option.

Thanks for your help!
