Is there any way to increase the list maximum beyond the standard max of 9?
Word 2002.

Thanks, Lar

No, the maximum in all versions up to Word 2003 is nine. In Word 2007
that will be increased to 50.

If you have a group of files that you use a lot, set up a Work menu:

Hi Lar,

To add one bit to Jay's reply in File=>Open the Recent/History listing keeps a more or less ongoing shortcut set to documents you
have opened in the past that you can use once you're past the 9 document limit.

Hi Jay and Bob. thanks for the ideas. It is too bad that MS never came up
with a patch to enlarge it RUF capacity. I will play with the Work menu. I
already have a customized toolbar, so what is one more thing. Bob, I just
did not get your suggestion. Maybe I am unsure of what or where "File=>Open
the Recent/History" is.

Thanks, Lar
