Recently used files

im using xp version, when you open access on the right
side it has the task pane and a history of recently opened
files. Is there a way to delete this history and how long
does this history show?

When posting if you want to post to multiple groups use a comma and put all
the groups on one line this way the answer also posts everywhere...
