Recently Used List

I am using Word 2003, Professional Edition, SP2.

The "recently used file list" is grayed out on my customize menu.

Why? How can I get it to turn on?

I use the same program on a 2nd computer and it shows and works fine.

Have you tried Tools>Options>General. Half way down it will ask how many
files. If set to zero it may be causing the "gray out"
