recgonition language

I screenclip a text.
I psate in ON.
I order ON to read the text (OCR) - Copy text from the pciture.
Yet, the text is not in English and therefore when I pate the text
the characters are not displayed correctly.
Is it possible to set a language for copying and pasting text from pictures?

Try this (don't know if it will work, but I think it might):
Right click the page and change "Make text in image searchable" from English
to whatever language you need it to be.
Now try the copy text and see if it works better....

Which language are you using for Office? And is the image you are pasting
into OneNote the same language or a different one?

I use english version
The image is not english.

Kathy's suggestion should have worked - did you get a brief popup after
selecting a different language indicating that it was re-OCRing the text?

way to test it.

No it does not work.

It even happens sometimes that the "copy text from pic" does not function
