Recieving old messages

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to see messages that I have already seen?

What happens is, when I check my email away from home or somewhere where I
have to use a web browser and I check my mail I can't see those messages in
my Outlook.
Also before I setup Outlook for my " .edu " emil account I had about 40 to
50 emails that I had saved in my account that I can't see in Outlook. I can
only see messages that are new and have not been looked at yet through the
browser.

Any thoughts? Let me know if you should need a further explaination, it may
not be too clear.
