I'm running "Office XP Professional" with the "Office XP
Pack for Tablet PC" on a Gateway M275 Tablet PC. I'm
composing mail items using HTML format and Microsoft Word
is the mail editor.
On the Tablet PC itself I can compose and print e-mail
items that contain "ink". But the people I send the e-
mail items to cannot print them. They can view the e-
mail items without any problem. What they see when they
print the mail items is the outline of a box with an "X"
in the upper left corner - exactly what you see when a
picture can't be displayed on a web page.
I've tested this problem with people running Outlook 2002
and Outlook 2000. Do the recipients need something
modified or installed on their PCs in order to print e-
mail items containing "ink"?
Note: If I compose e-mails using the Rich Text Format the
recipients can print the "ink" just fine. But the e-
mails are much larger. So the problem is using HTML.
Thanks,
Ken
