Reclaim Product Keys

My Macbook Pro has crashed after I installed Office for Mac 2008. I think the version I purchased allows a maximum of 3 product keys. My computer is now repaired with a new hard disk replacement. Is there anyway that I can reclaim the 1st of precious 3 product keys because of this unfortunate incidence?

There's no need to "reclaim" anything. The keys are neither consumable nor
perishable :) You can reinstall as many times as necessary using the same
key. Just makes sure you keep a record of which key you use so if you should
ever have to reinstall on that Mac again [without reformatting] you'll be
able to do so using the same key.

While I understand you can install Office many times, in my situation, I have re-installed Office on my repaired MBP and for some reason, I am unable to run Entourage simultaneously when my office computer is still running entourage. I received an error message indicating that two copies of Entourage with the same product keys cannot be run at the same time. I have copied down the product key on my first installation before my MBP crashed. Can I manually input that product key into the MBP to avoid this conflict?

Unless you have the student edition with three licenses, you are not allowed
to do this. That is why you are getting the error. Yes you can install on a
desk top and a laptop and use each, but NOT AT THE SAME TIME.
