I work with color separated art and for the most part, understand how to do
this with Publisher. What I cannot understand is why is it when i have a
color graphic on a page that I recolor as grayscale in the Format Image box,
it visually turns grayscale but when printing or converting to PDF, it shows
itself as a 4 color black and not a true black. All the black text turns
black and items that I have assigned a PMS color to are also separating
properly but not imaged turned to grayscale with the Recolor option. Why is
this and is there a way around that in publisher? (I know i can fix in
photoshop but trying to avoid using that for something that seems like it
should be working)
