Recommend: object intermediate between Application and Project

At present there is no object intermediate between Application (Excel) and
Project. It would be nice if there were a new object, "Planet" under which
would be Projects. Each Planet would have its own subset of Projects. Then if
one booted up Excel, say holding down the Shift Key, one would be given the
choice of which Planet he wished to open with. One Planet might be "Manage
Stock Portfolio" which would include all the projects used in Planet "Manage
Stock Portfolio". Another planet might be "Solve Quadratic Equations" which
would include all projects and worksheets, etc for this planet. One would
then have the capability of exporting modules from one Planet and importing
them into the others if so desired. Obviously this is very useful when the
functions of some Planets are totally unrelated to the functions of the other
Planets. The only way to currently accomplish this is to have two separate
installations of Excel which is very wasteful of resources. I hope this
suggestion will lead to other suggestions leading to a more flexible Excel.

hi
in xl help, look up workspace. it tells you how to devide your projects up
into planets.

Greetings! Thanks for your response. I tried your suggestion. I saved my
existing setup (consisting of 2 Projects and a Personal Workbook) as Insider
Workspace, and setup a new workspace called New Workspace which just has a
blank workbook. I opened the New Workspace, and performed Alt-F11 to open
VBE. All the modules from the Personal WorkBook of Workspace "Insider
Workspace" appear in the Project Explorer window of this new workspace.
Ideally I would like a separate Personal Workbook which would just be for the
New Workspace. In other words each workspace should have its own Personal
Workbook--I do not want stock selection modules intermingled with baseball
team analysis modules. But unique Personal Workbooks must be setup for the
two Workspaces to be completely independent of one another-- which is
especially important if the two workspaces deal with entirely different
subject areas. How can one have a new Personal Workbook for each Workspace
