Recommended method of delegating assignment manager

R

Richard Cass

Hello - I am sure that I am not the first to ask this question, but I have tried many searches and cannot find a solution for our Project Server 2003 / Project Professional 2003 setup.

We have a number of project managers and use the timesheet pages to record resource time spent on each assignment. When the resources update their tasks using PWA, the relevant PM receives the the e-mail notification and then assesses the submissions as normal.

However, I am looking for a method of another PM being able to accept or reject these submissions if the actual PM owner is away on vacation etc.

Is there a way that this can be done?

TIA

Hope this helps.

Dale,

Thanks for the link to a very good site and the specific article.

I knew that I could perform this operation using this method, but was hoping
that there would have been a more 'temporary' way of doing this. Guess I
will have to use that method.

Many thanks again.

Richard
