versions). Could anyone recommend a book to help me through this

What kinds of things are frustrating you, more exactly? And in which
programming environment are you working? I'm not familiar with any
book that discusses Word Addins, in particular... (Word books don't
sell very well, so there aren't many on the market, especially at the
dev level)
