Hi,

I'm trying to copy over a v.X database to a new build machine that
will have 2004 installed from scratch (not upgraded). Can anybody
suggest what is the recommended way to do this?

Thanks,

Adam.

You can just copy the Main Identity folder and copy it in office 2004
identities

Actually, Entourage X identities cannot be read by Entourage 2004. You
should copy the Main Identity folder to the new machine. When you launch
Entourage, Entourage First Run should ask you whether you'd like to import
an Office X Identity. Choose "Yes". Otherwise, you can go to File > Import
and import from your Office X identity that way.
