Record activities against a contact in a public folder.

I've worked out how to link an appointment from my calendar to a public
contacts folder by right clicking the contacts folder and changing the
properties so that it allows the link. However, I have to do this for every
public folder and I've got about 20. Is there a way around this? I just
want to be able to record activities for a number of public folders for
appointments in my personal calendar. I'm using v2000. Hope that makes
sense and thanks.
