Record Difficulties

When I create a userform and then click on the form view,
how I get this annoying "Record" and some buttons on the
bottom of my screen. How do I get rid of that? In
addition, there is a vertical line on the left side. How
do I get rid of that?

On the Format tab of the Form's properties, set the Navigation Buttons
and the Record Selector both to No.
