Record Macro in Excel 2007 not recording everything

Hi,

I've been using Excel 2007 for a few weeks now and I've noticed that
the 'Record Macro' functionality is not so complete anymore.

For example if you record a macro when adding a picture to your
sheet, resizing & moving it, then saving your sheet.
The result is the insert & save sheet code. The resizing & moving of
the picture is not present in the macro.

Another example, add a comment to a cell. Then start recording macro
and change font of this comment. Then you got a nice empty macro.

I hope this is a setting because otherwise I will go back to Excel
2003.
I do a lot of vba automation from VB6 apps and the 'record macro'
function has saved my many many hours already.

I get identical macros when using the macro recorder to do this with
Xl2202, XL2003 and XL2007.
In no case does the macro recorder show anything about font changes, it
merely shows the text that is in the comment.

Sven, I have seen similar results. The macro recording feature in Excel
2007 is significantly worse than prior versions. I often have to go back to
Excel 2003 to get usable results, especially with shapes.
