Record too large errors.

I have been trying to merge (via append query) two tables and keep getting "record too large" errors. Ok, I know what that means, but my question is....is there any way, within ACCESS, to determine which records are causing the errors??? I would like not to have to go through each of the 200 or so records to determine which of the 16 are causing the problems.
