Recorded Macro won't change font or font size

Word 2002 I record a macro. I change portrait to
landscape, font color, font name and font size. When I
run the macro everything changes but font and font size.
If I edit the macro using visual basic, I find that those
two changes are not recorded. If I manually add them,
then the macro works. I have this problem at home and at
work.

Word 2002 often ignores (for purposes of using F4, for example) font and
other formatting selections made from the toolbar. If you make the
selections from the Font dialog, they may be recorded (but so will a lot of
other extraneous stuff).
