Recording Macro's Mini Floating Toolbar

I 've lost the "mini" floating toolbar that pops up when you select to record
a macro while is a spreadsheet. The toolbar offers a "stop recording" button
and a "relative" reference button. Any ideas how to get this toolbar to come
back when I go into Macro Record mode? I'm using Excel 2003, standard
worksheet. Had the floating toolbar yesterday.

Thanks Bob I,

I didn't find a "Stop Recording" listed when I R-Clicked the toolbar,
however, I did go to "customize" : "Toolbars" and found it there. So I was
able to put it in the toolbars above (permanently). Not sure why the
"floating" mini toolbar got hosed but this works fine. Again, thanks.

When you start rcording a macro Excel Unhides the toolbar. When you hit stop
recording it hides the toolbar. If instead of hitting stop you hit the x then
it removes the toolbar. Note that removing is very different from hiding. The
next time you record a macro and hit stop it will once again hide the
toolbar.

Jim, Thanks, I didn't realize the difference. I do recall finding out
yesterday that I was still recording a macro when I thought I had stopped it.
However, now that I have hit the 'x' and removed it, how do I get it to come
back when I start recording a macro again? Right now I am doing what Bill
suggested and "customizing" my toolbar to show these buttons at all times.

You're welcome, please be aware that the step after r-clicking toolbar
is selecting "Customize". ;-)
