recording video resets!

When recording video using Onenote, On my tablet pc, if you switch screen
orientation the video resets, erasing any hint of video recorded before
changing the orientation!
But continues to record from the spot after it changed... losing 15 min of
video that i'll never get back.
I am only using the trial version, but i've got a full version ordered... if
this is how this program is going to be, I might just return it!
I'm sick of tired not being able to actually talk to someone at microsoft!

James, we'll take a look. From the sounds of it, there is probably nothing
we can do in OneNote since we use video components that are part of the
system to give us the video stream and it sounds like the orientation change
is interrupting that before we get the final video file, but there may be a
workaround.

an idea is if the screen is going o change orientarion, save the video and
re-record from the time the change is done.

Yes, possibly. We may not get a chance depending on how it actually works.

James, as Chris mentions below, this is an issue with the video recording at
the system level. You'll also find similar behavior when recording in
Windows Movie Maker and other products that use system level recording.
We're in contact with our system folks to let them know there's a problem and
determine if there's a workaround for this issue.

Thanks,
Jeff Cardon - OneNote Test
