Recording Word Macro

I recorded a macro in Word2000 and it works, but as soon
as I turn off the computer and turn it back on my macro
disappears. How can I save this macro so I can use it
another day and time?

Any suggestions.

Macros are stored in templates. Unless you specify otherwise, your macro
gets put in the NewMacros module of normal.dot. If you had 'automatically
save changes to normal' checked, your macro will be saved automatically. It
seems you don't have it checked and you're answering NO when asked if you
want to save changes. Either that or you're switching off your computer
without shutting down Word first.
