records aren't being displayed?

I've created a database of 'recipies' and am having a problem. When I add a new record (or 2, or 3 records), save the record, close and re-open the main recipe form, the previous records aren't being displayed. They are in the recipe table, but not in the form. I'm VERY new to Access, and have read about the 'requery' feature, but don't know how to use it. Can someone help

You should go to the design view of the form to see if the form is set to
data entry. Set this property to "No".
