Records in an Access 2000 table

I'm a little confused here. I was always told that the total number of
records an Access 2000 table can hold is 255. I have a simple order form
based on a table that - right now - has 270 orders on it. Can I keep going
with this? I think I only need the table to hold about 450 orders or so. Do
I need to split the order form or can I keep it as it is?

There is no limit on the number of records. 255 is the limit on the number
of fields in a table.

Number of records is controlled by the overall size of the database. It
depends on how big each record is. Most newer versions of Access allow the
file to be up to 2 mb.
