Records shown in Mail Merge toolbard won't go pass 99-Office 2003

When merge Word 2003 with Access 2003 query the number of records displayed
in the toolbar won't go past two digits, for example if the total records are
3,962, it will only display 39. This makes it difficult for users to search,
etc. Is there a fix for this?
