recordset help

when you create a record set . How do you return a value from that recordset
to a text box?

I have asked several forms and this is beginner stuff and no-one is
answering me.

create a form using the wizard and when the wizard asks
what tables/queries you ant to include tell it the
tables.queries that have the feilds that you want. Then
once the form is open it shoudl work fine. If all else
fails type your Q into the help box, I use it alot and it
anwsers many q's for me.

Thank you rob. That was exactly what I was looking for. I have posted
several times and no one could answer me.

As you see the other answer to this post is telling me to use a wizard.
When using a wizard this is a direct link to tables and is slow when several
users are attached to the Data.

I see you are from FMS. And by providing an answer you have proven the
worth of your companies assets at hand there.
