I have lot of normal task which I must to transform into recourring
task.
When I choose on the menu ( insert/recouring task...) I am only able
to create new recouring task.

It is possible to take that transforamtion ?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Marijan,

You'll have to manually do what the Recurring task automatically would do.
Instead of a recurring task, creat a Summary task which include all the
subtasks that you want to tranform.
Indent all the sub tasks
Select all the sub tasks : Click the "Task Information" button : in the
Multiple Task Information (General tab) Check the "Roll up Gantt bar to
summary" check box. OK.
Double Click the Summary : check the 2 check boxes : Hide task bar, Show
rolled up Gantt bar. (General tab)
Now you can hide the sub tasks.

Gerard - there is a subtle difference between a recurring task and a
repeated subtask created such as you describe and that is assigning a
resource to the summary level of the recurring task propogates down to
actually assign him to the individual occurances, becoming the sole
exception to the rule of never assign resources to summarys. And
remember also that the individual occurances of the recurring task carry
a SNET constraint.
