recover a shared contacts public folder

I have a client who accidently deleted their Shared Contacts public folder. I
was able to recover the folder using the recover deleted items tool, but now
the folder says in parenthesis (recovered), the find function no longer
works, and the distribution lists within the folder are no longer correct. Is
there another step I need to take to get the folder completely back to
normal. This folder has about 5000 contacts in it so it's fairly large.
