recover autotext

i upgraded from office 97 to office 2000 pro but have now lost all my
autotext entries, can these be recovered somehow?

where are they stored?

Look for your old normal.dot file from Office 97 -- the AutoText entries are
stored there.

yes, thank you for that - can they be extracted as a whole and put into the
new normal.dot anyway or can it only be done 1 at a time manually?

Hi Bob,

You can transfer AutoText entries to your new Normal.dot using the
Organizer found under Tools/Template and Add-ins.
