Recover deleted information from Microsoft FrontPage 2002

I have been using FrontPage 2002 to create a website for my band. This
morning I was trying to redo the discussion board because it wasn't working
on anyones computer and I figured I just messed something up when I
originally inserted it with discussion wizard. So I deleted it and used the
discussion wizard again. Unwittingly I made the welcome page my home page for
the entire website, removing all information I had for my home page for the
site which took me a very long time to construct. Now I can not update any
information without publishing the discussion board. I want to know if I can
remove this and regain my original home page I had made. The website is
www.swollenmusic.net All the other pages on the website still have the
information but the format got changed around so that can be easily fixed but
I want to be able to recover my orignal layout. How do I do this, I really
don't wanna delete everything and start from scratch.

No, I have it set up so that front page is connected directly to the web
server. All information is saved and stored in front page and then directly
goes to the web server which I have access to through "my computer, network
places".

So what does that mean? You are working locally then publishing to the server...or are you working live on the server?

If you're working locally then publishing to server and your local web is good then just republish it. If you've been working live and don't have a local copy..you're out of luck unless the host will enable a backup on the server.

==
Was/is the discussion web in a subweb? If not...you should put it in a subweb...if your host allows subwebs.

yes, I'm working through front page locally then publishing to server after I
have finished and saved. The problem is that when I used that wizard for the
message board, I click something and turned it into my home page and it seems
that mess up completely wiped out what I had saved in front page. I went
looking for the original home page file on my computer and all through
frontpage but all I got was the message board. It never even got a chance to
make it to subweb. The wizard creates the pages and then you have to place
them where you want them on the navigation table but the main welcome page
for the message board replaced and wiped out my home page.

You did get a chance to make it a subweb in the File New Site Dialog (after you select the DW template)
- you select a location there

There is no way to recover the overwritten page

PS
If you keep the DW in the root you will have problems with it being overwritten any time you publish in the future
