Recover Deleted Items - Several Folders

Using Outlook 2003, XP, and just noticed that I have a "Recover Deleted
Items" folder attached to ALLmy folders: Deleted Items, Inbox, and Sent
Items, as well as folders I've made myself, and they all hold different
"Recover Deleted Items" files. What then are pure Deleted Items? I
frequently go to "Recover" from my Deleted Items and delete all to keep my
disk clean but wasn't aware that all folders hold deleted items. Is there a
way to delete them all at once? Thanks much.
