Using mailwasher pro to screen out junk mail...I have some impt
emails that
were deleted by outlook w/o going into inbox first...found them in
spam
log.....can I recover them?
Why did you define a rule in Outlook to permanently delete suspect
mails if you want to keep them around for a short time in case of
false positives? In Outlook, change the rule for those
Mailwasher-tagged e-mails so they get moved into the Junk folder (and
perhaps marked as read) instead of getting permanently deleted. Then
configure auto-archive on the Junk folder to permanently delete
messages over, say, 5 days old.
If a rule in Mailwasher is deleting the mails before they ever get
delivered to Outlook then how is this an Outlook question? Outlook
never got those mails. You have a problem in how you decided to
configure Mailwasher. You are using Mailwasher as a pre-filter and
have configured it to delete mails from your server. Outlook never
ever gets those so they aren't anywhere in Outlook to be recovered.
