recover overwritten word file

Is it possible to recover a word file that has been
overwritten. We created a document, saved it and closed
it. Then created a second document and saved it using the
same name as the first document. Word complained are you
sure you want to overwrite this document, and we said
yes. Then we realised that the first document was not the
contents of the second....

So if there is a was to get it back please help.

Vince, that's the one "lost file" issue I know of no way to fix. Sorry.
