| | Hello,
| |
| | I understand you solved the Word locking up issue by deleting the Data
| | registry key, now we get the message "Saving The AutoRecovery File Is
| | Postponed".
| |
| | First, this problem may occur when you use one or more of the following
| | characters as part of the file name for the document:
| | o Percent (%)
| | o Number sign (#)
| | o Exclamation point (!)
| |
| | If you just save the file as test.docx but still encounter the problem,
| | let's try to unselect the "save autorecover information every" in
Office
| | button > Word options > Save.
| |
| | Hope this helps. If you have any concerns, feel free to post back.
| |
| |

| | | I am running Word 2007 SP2 with latest updates. Word was locking up
as
| | soon
| | | as I opened it so deleted the Word Data Registry Key as per KB921541
| and
| | this
| | | resolved the problem.
| | |
| | | However, now when I am working in Word I get the message "Saving The
| | | AutoRecovery File Is Postponed". Can anyone advise how to resolve
this?
