Recovering a corrupt database

Todd

I had to repair yesterday and after this it had created a
clean version and renamed the original to "damaged". I
now want to recover data from this damaged version which
can open, but when I press F11 to access the tables and
queries nothing happens.

Ideas? Thanks

Try holding down the Shift key while opening your database. This will allow one to bypass
startup options that can be selected via Tools > Startup menu, as long as the developer
has not disabled the bypass key. If the option "Use Access Special Keys" is unchecked,
this could explain why F11 does not work.

If you find that holding down the Shift key while opening the database does not help, then
you may have some additional work to restore the bypass key feature. You should post back
if you find this to be the case.
