Recovering a pst file

I have Office Pro 2003. My hard drive crashed. It was restored by data
recovery. I have a new drive and have reloaded everything, and moved the
recovered pst file to its proper location. I got all of my contact
information, but I also need my old e-mail files. How do I get them back?

"Proper location?" Simply moving an Outlook data file to the default
location is the worst possible way to try to restore data.
