Recovering an old save

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have saved over a piece of my CW and desperately need to get to the previous save
PLEASE HELP!!!

If the file is still open you may be able to recover using Undo. Once you've
saved & closed the file, however, there's nothing you can do unless you have
a backup of some sort. If you use the OS X Time Machine feature you should
be able to retrieve an older copy of the file using that.

In Word>Preferences>Save, turn on "Always make backup copy".

Then, NEXT time this happens, the previous saved version of the document
will be in the same folder, labelled "Backup of..."

But if you don't turn it on, no backup is created :)
