Tom,
What I am understanding from your situation is you have upgraded Office to
final version and left BCM to beta version. If you want to use BCM, you will
need to upgrade BCM also. On small business trial download site, there are
two download files. One is Office installation program and another is BCM.
BCM file is X13-40150.exe. You will need to download this file, uninstall
Beta version of following components and install RTM version with
X13-40150.exe.
a. Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 (Beta)
b. 2007 Microsoft Office System Primary Interop Assemblies (Beta)
c. Microsoft Office Small Business Connectivity Components
d. Microsoft Office Accounting 2007
Once the RTM version of BCM is installed, you will see BCM configuration
wizard when you start Outlook. This will allow you to choose BCM beta data
and migrate them to RTM version.
Now, if you have succesfully installed RTM version of BCM and you never saw
BCM configuration dialog after starting Outlook, click Help->Configurare
Business Contact Manager menu in Outlook. This will launch BCM wizard.

I wish that were the case. I did the beta installs
Then the trial came out.
I uninstalled everything, I thought, but must have missed the uninstall of
BCM.
From then on I kept getting an error message that BCM wouldn't work with
this version, probably because the data was in the beta. BCM showed on
Outlook and after about 15 days of no responses from anyone, I just
deleted
that folder.
But! After 21 days someone that answers to Stonemountain said he/she was
having the same problem. I am thinking my data is lost, but I think
1) they still have their and if anyone went deeper into their challege
would
find that the
2) BCM folder is still there and that
3) they are continually getting the same error messages and that4) they
don't have BCM beta in their list of loaded programs as I didn't.
I think mine is a lost cause, but I didn't have much data there so any
help
for Stonemountain would be appreciated.
