Recovering Contacts from a Dead Computer

Dave

My old computer was running Outlook 2000 under Windows 98SE. I did
not backup the contacts (dumb). The motherboard went bad, so I bought
a new machine, running Windows XP Home. The old hard drive was
installed on the new machine as a D: drive, so I could salvage my
important files and ultimately have extra storage. I have reinstalled
Outlook 2000 onto the new machine.

I have tried for hours to figure out how to access the old contacts.
I do know where the old .wab file is, but I don't know what to do with
it. Outlook offers importing from a bunch of formats, but not
Outlook.

Any help out there? Is there a FAQ that covers this?

Thanks!

I still need help! Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry in advance for breaking netiquette.
