Recovering deleted contacts and events- Feature Request?

I recently had a horrible experience with Entourage. I got a new Palm
and synced it with Entourage. After the sync all my contacts and
calendar events were gone, gone, gone.

Now I have had a similar experience in Outlook on the pc. Not too big
a problem in Outlook I just went into the Outlook trash folder and
retrieved the contacts and events that disappeared. Inconvenient, but
not the end of the world.

In Entourage, as far as I can tell, contacts and events that are
deleted are gone forever, not in a trash file, gone. This sucks.

I tried to go to a back up but then I lose all the email that I
received since my last back up- not a good solution. So I tried
reverting to my backup and exporting my contacts and events. This
kind of worked. You can't export events so those are gone. The
contacts exported ok. So then I returned to my current data and tried
to import the contacts. They seemed to come in ok but all my groups
and categories were lost. This sucks too.

How can I get Microsoft to add a trash for all items into Entourage?

You can submit feature requests via the Help/Feedback on Entourage menu
item, which leads to this web site:
