recovering email being written

How do I recover an email being written and then Office 2003 shut down?..It
was not saved in drafts, nor deleted mail...I do not have the button under
Tools that says Recover Deleted Items...Thanks, Karen

If it hadn't been AutoSaved to Drafts yet, there is no way to recover. By
default AutoSave is configured to occur every 3 minutes.

Thanks, Roady!...so, it would seem that it would autosave right away when it
accidently shuts down, what are the parameters for whether autosave becomes
effective as it is shutting down?....thanks, Karen

p.s. One last question I hope...is there an easy way to get rid of duplicate
emails?..
