Recovering from an accident save?

If I accidentally saved my current file on top of another
one can I recover from it.

You may well find your original file. It could be located as a temp file or
even a deleted temporary file. I suggest you download the demo from
www.RecoverMyFiles.com and as well as searching for deleted files search
your Documents and Settings folder (if you are using 2000 or XP). Their demo
will let you see the contents of deleted files.
