recovering links to pictures

T

Tom

I have linked the pictures in my document to the accompanying picture file in
a certain directory, but now this directory has moved to a different drive.
Is there a quick way to change all the links to the current position of the
file?

Thanks in advance!

Since you have linked the pictures, they are inserted as fields.
If you press Alt+F9, each of these fields shows the field code instead of
the picture. As part of the field code, you will see the path. You can now
use Find and Replace (Ctlr+H) to replace the old path with the new one. When
finished, press Alt+F9 to toggle the field codes again. Ctrl+A to select all,
F9 to update fields.
