Recovering Microsoft User Data

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC Email Client: pop Hi there,
I've read the discussions on this one but my steps haven't yet righted the problem. I accidently trashed my 2004 user data last night. I have recovered it and moved it into the docs folder alongside the old file calling the new file Microsoft User Data old - but then Entourage keeps replacing it.. What steps should I take to restore my data in Entourage? Thank you!

To update: I have a 266MB file called database in my Office 2004 identities folder in my old microsoft user data folder that I simply want to get into Entourage - Import won't recognise it - that's where I'm at..!
